Imagine for a moment if Michael Jordan was an accountant. Or, Bill Gates...a painter. Or, perhaps Oprah...an engineer. While each likely would have thrived in their respective profession, odds are good they would not have had the monumental impact on our world they have been able to realize.
The same holds true for you. You have the power to change the world, impact millions of lives, and leave a legacy for

4 Keys To Creating Successful Habits
What makes successful people successful?
We would all love to be able to walk down to the local supermarket and pick up a bottle of success. But let's look past that fantasy and find out one of the most basic reasons why people become successful.
Right now, think of someone that you know personally who is successful. Can you see their face in your mind?
Good.
Now ask yourself this question, "Does this person have a successful routine or set of habits that makes them successful?" I would be shocked if they didn't.
Sometimes the only difference between being successful and being average is having successful habits.
Some examples of successful habits could be getting up earlier, doing thing when they need to be done, being prepared, or effective time management.
So how do you start to build these success habits in your life? Here are 4 tips on creating successful habits.
1. Identify area of change - Find the areas in your life that need changing. Write down these new
habits that need to be formed. Don't become overwhelmed at trying to figure out how you are going to form all of these habits.
2. Cultivate 2 habits - Most people sabotage themselves by trying to change everything at once. Instead, pick one major and one minor habit that you want to form. For the next 30-90 days these will be the success habits that you will create.
3. Start small - Now that you have your two success habits, create a daily or weekly routine that is easy to follow. For instance, let's say that you want to wake up an hour earlier so that you can get more successful things done.
Instead of setting your alarm an hour earlier right at the beginning, only set it 2-5 minutes earlier every morning until you reach your goal. This way it would take you 30 days or 12 days respectively to create your success habit.
Remember, the best way to eat an elephant is one bite at a time.
4. Repeat - Once you have created your new habits move on to the next 2 success habits that you want to create. Before you know it you will have created a whole new life full of success filled habits.
Just imagine where you will be in one year if you follow these four keys to creating successful habits. If it takes you only 60 days to create 2 habits, you will have created 12 success habits in just one year.

3 Tips For Self-Help And Personal Growth
Self-help and personal growth are aspects that many individuals lack in. For many, getting up every day means going to work, coming home tired enough to fall into bed and to do it all over again the next day.
Days off full-time jobs will involve laundry, cleaning, cooking and trying to do something meaningful with the kids. While this is the life that many urbanites live, it is not a life that is good in quality.
And, while that paycheck is a great asset, it is not what is going to provide you with a life to look back on with a smile. Improve your life through self-help and personal growth, and you and your family will be better off.
Tips For Improving Your Life Through Personal Growth
1. Get A Life! You have heard the saying, now put it to use. While you may think it is necessary to work long hours and get a big fat check, if you ask your children if they would rather have lots of toys or see you more, more than likely they will choose you.
Cut back on your demanding job and find time to invest in your family. Their values will improve, your relationship will improve and you will go to bed with a smile on your head.
2. Self-help means looking hard at yourself. While it is not easy to do, you'll need to face your faults and find ways to improve them. Find out what you hate or dislike about yourself and then work on improving these aspects.
Don't like the way you look? Then change it. Don't like the attitude that you have? Add things into your life that are worth being happy about.
3. Time for yourself. It is also important to spend quality time doing things that you personally enjoy doing. Want to get away for a bit? Then take a walk after dinner and leave your spouse with the kids.
A 10-minute break from everyone is the time you can use to explore your own self and to learn about who you are and where your life is heading.
When you take the time to learn about yourself and to develop your relationships, your personal growth will allow you to become the person that you want to be.

Why you need to be an expert in something
"If you want to be found online, or want to become valuable in the workplace, then you have to focus on one area of expertise," writes Dan Schawbill on Copyblogger.
You must become the most knowledgeable person on a certain topic—an authority—so that people are eventually compelled to come to you for that expertise. Whatever you do, don't be a "jack of all trades". It's completely ineffective because you will end up blending in instead of standing out, says Dan: "If you try to be everything to everyone, you will be nothing to anyone."
In a new study from American Express, 65% of managers said that being a subject matter expert is important to career advancement.

5 steps to seizing opportunity
Here are 5 suggestions for seizing opportunity, from Bill Paxon, founder of PAX TV (as cited in New Man magazine):
1. Don't allow the past to prevent you from acting on what you perceive the future to hold.
2. Once you're decided to pursue an opportunity, stay focused. Don't get sidetracked on frivolous concerns.
3. When a good opportunity comes along, don't turn it down just because it means changing course.
4. Utilize "super speed": Some of the best opportunities develop with lightning speed and require equally quick reaction. If you are paralyzed by fear, you will miss them every time.
5. Remember: All it takes is one opportunity to transform your life and your world.

7 Great Tips On Using Affirmations
Affirmations are a simple and effective way to influence your subconscious mind. It is quite easy for you to search the Internet to find tones of free affirmations in various categories.
In this article, you will discover 7 different way to make your affirmations more powerful:
1. You should get into a relaxed state of mind. When this happens, our conscious minds are less intrusive, thus leaving our subconscious minds wide open. You should use this to your advantage.
2. Repeat them while looking at yourself in the mirror.
3. We all tend to remember rhymes and tunes more easily. So choose your affirmations and just get a bit creative.
4. The times just before sleeping and after waking up are great for influencing the subconscious. So make sure you use them at these times.
5. If you are in a place where it would not be appropriate for you to use them out loud. You can just repeat it to yourself mentally. It helps if you imagine it getting louder and louder.
6. Write them down. This has much more power than just verbally repeating it. I would suggest that you write each one at least 10 times daily or so. Of course, the more you do it the better.
7. Write them down on pieces of paper and stick then around your home or workplace. This way, you are always reminded of them. Just make sure it is a place you visit often.
You are probably wondering how long it will take you to see changes in yourself, right? Well, it is scientifically proven that it takes 21 days for one person to change form one habit to another. So don't lose heart, just keep doing it for a while.
